Hello everyone and welcome to our next school year. Mondays and Wednesdays will meet at the Fountain Valley Campus. I will continue to teach online on Thursdays.
Elementary (4th-6th)
I will be teaching Adventures in Literature for the Elementary school - booklist coming soon. The goal for the class is to encourage reading and comprehension , discussion and enjoying learning about literary elements.
Middle School (6th-8th)
No matter the class, we will be "traveling" together through our studies in history and literature. On Mondays I will be offering Adventures in Literature Middle School and World Geography.. On Wednesdays, I will be offering Take A Stand (TAS) Ancient, TAS Medieval and TAS Early American history with literature which will include analysis of original documents for the junior high student in Fountain Valley.
Thursday's classes will be live online. TAS Ancient, TAS Medieval and TAS Early American history with literature classes will be offered as well as Adventures in Literature for Middle School. American Civics will also be offered which will highlight the way our government functions including looking at original documents. One of my favorite classes to teach is World Geography
High School (9th-10th)
On Mondays I will be teaching American Government and Politics and Adventures in World Geography in Fountain Valley,
I am pleased to announce that a Book Club will be offered as a class during lunchtime.
On Wednesdays I will be teaching Adventures in World Geography and World History.
Because I lived overseas for five years and have been able to travel, sharing stories with my classes makes our time together that much more engaging.
American Civics, World History, and Adventures in World Geography will be taught live online Thursdays.
I have been teaching with the online educational portal Canvas. My students have successfully learned how to join me for their classes on Zoom where we have enjoyed our discussions and dialogue.

Fountain Valley Campus and Live-Online Thursday!
Canvas is a LMS (Learning Management System.) Each student enters through a code-only invitation, the class is recorded and may be reviewed in their Canvas module later. We review past material and I am also able to offer instruction after the class via their Canvas module. Even the quiet kids contribute more in this format! Their homework and quizzes are submitted and graded, as well as any communication between the students, parents and myself.
I am a Vendor for these Charter schools. I also accept private funds through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle and personal check.
