Fall and Spring '23-24: In Person & Live Online Classes
Hello everyone and welcome to our next school year. I am happy to announce that I will be teaching at our new location on Monday and Wednesday's in Fountain Valley. I will continue to teach online on Thursday's. Junior High (6th-8th) No matter the class, we will be "traveling" together through our studies in history and literature. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I will be offering Ancient, Medieval and Early American history with literature which will include analysis of original documents for the junior high student in Fountain Valley. Of course I will continue to teach my Take A Stand! history classes Thursday's live online. High School (9th-10th) On Mondays and Wednesdays in Fountain Valley, I am teaching two classes: World History with Literature and American Civics. I will also be teaching World History with Literature. There will be literary and original documents assigned to enrich out study of history, Because I lived overseas for five years and have been able to travel, sharing stories with my classes makes our time together that much more engaging.
Civics will be taught in person twice a weekin Fountain Valley and will be offered again on Thursday's for a once a week course.
I have been teaching with the online educational portal Canvas. My students have successfully learned how to join me for their classes on Zoom where we have enjoyed our discussions and dialogue.
