This World History class meets twice weekly. Each week includes assignments using the Take a Stand, World History, along with our main text, Western Civilizations, by Marvin Perry. Class time will include lecture and interactive discussion for student participation in reinforcing weekly reading assignments. Homework will include answering the Perry unit questions, and taking unit quizzes and will also include additional written responses selected from the topics covered in the Take a Stand! World History. Throughout the study of world history, Mr. West provides opportunities to participate in open ended discussions. The literature portion will be posted on the HSC website and this page in the near future.
